Pick between different Virtual Worlds from deep sea diving to flying through the Alps. Your body is your controller, how you move is how you fly in the Virtual World.

FAQ

I wear prescription eyeglasses can I still participate?

Yes, if your frames are not overly large, the HTC Vive headset can accommodate glasses within it. But most people find they are able to see just fine without their glasses. We also recommend using contact lenses.

What is active VR?

Active VR is virtual reality combined with physical activity. For example on the ICAROS Pro you will be actively planking and using your body as a controller. On the KatVR you will be running, walking and actively burning calories while exploring virtual worlds.

What about motion sickness?

Have you tried other VR systems and felt queasy? The HTC Vive system we use at VRcadium is very high quality VR, and therefore less likely than other VR systems to give negative side effects.

Other people will use the headset. How is it cleaned?

After each session we thoroughly clean all the equipment with disinfectant. Provided in the rooms are baby wipes to wipe down the gear as needed when you pass it along to others in the room just in case someone worked up a sweat killing zombies, testing their fear of heights, or flying through virtual worlds.

What if I want to book a large party?

Right now we have two KatVR, ICAROS Pro and a normal VR station, you can book the venue up to 8-10 people.

Are children allowed?

VR headset use is recommended for those aged 14 and older. At a parent's discretion, 8-13 year olds can use the VR equipment if they are 140cm or taller. 8-13 year olds must be supervised 1 on 1 by an adult in order to participate. Any participants under 18 need their waiver signed by a guardian. The waiver can be found here.

Is there a multiplayer?

On the KatVR we offer multiplayer games so you can compete or work together with your friends to accomplish epic quests. The other VR experiences you can achieve and compete for highscores.

What should I wear?

We recommend sport clothes and shoes. Do not wear skirts or high heels as these will restrict movement and the VR experience.

Do I have to reserve?

We recommend reserving as the time slot will be reserved for you. You are also welcome to come without reservation but risk waiting in line to use the devices.

Do you offer refunds?

Payment is made when you show up for your booking prior to starting your session. If there is an unforeseen incident such as equipment failure, we will provide a raincheck and/or coupon for future use.

Can I buy Gift Cards?

Gift Cards are available in-store. They will be available online soon.

How do I cancel my booking?

After confirming your booking, a cancellation link will be provided within your confirmation email. If you need to cancel, please use this link so that the room will become free for others
